Melanie I. Wiener is an associate at the firm. Since her admission, she has become involved in the prosecution and defense of personal injury and property damage actions, and in particular those actions involving the taxi, limousine and livery business. She is also involved in the preparation of loan documents for institutional lenders in making secured loans to New York City Taxi Medallion Owners. She has prepared appeals to the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court, Second Department, the Appellate Term of the New York State Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She is currently involved in liability defense work for three carriers, including no-fault subrogation. Melanie also handles divorces cases and annulments, and prepares Wills, Trusts, and other estate planning documents.
